1. Platform role

VenueScene operates solely as a marketplace that facilitates connections between venues and bands.

VenueScene is not a party to any agreement between users and does not organize, manage, or guarantee any performances, bookings, or outcomes.

All agreements are made directly between venues and bands.

2. User responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Communicate professionally
• Honor commitments made through the platform

Venues are responsible for:

• Booking decisions
• Payment obligations
• Event logistics and compliance

Bands are responsible for:

• Performance delivery
• Availability and communication
• Professional conduct

3. Payments & processing

Payments on VenueScene may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe.

By using the platform:

• You agree to be bound by Stripe's terms and policies
• You authorize VenueScene to facilitate payments on your behalf

VenueScene does not store or directly process payment information.

4. Payment flow & holding of funds

In certain cases:

• Payments may be collected prior to an event
• Funds may be held temporarily before payout

VenueScene does not act as a bank, escrow agent, or fiduciary.

Timing of payouts may vary based on platform policies, third-party processing, and operational requirements.

5. Payouts

Payouts to bands are subject to:

• Completion of the agreed performance
• Any applicable review or dispute period
• Successful processing by third-party providers

VenueScene is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or external factors.

6. Cancellations, no-shows & disputes

VenueScene is not responsible for:

• Cancellations
• No-shows
• Performance quality
• Disputes between users

Users agree to resolve disputes directly.

VenueScene may, at its discretion, assist in communication but is not obligated to intervene or enforce outcomes.

7. Fees

VenueScene may charge service fees for use of the platform. These fees may change at any time and will be communicated within the platform.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VenueScene shall not be liable for:

• Any direct or indirect damages
• Lost income or opportunities
• Disputes or issues between users
• Payment-related issues outside of its direct control

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

9. Account termination

VenueScene reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Misuse of the platform

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
